Cyber Risk in Working Remotely

CSW conducted two-month research in the wake of the COVID pandemic lockdown. We examined popular applications from well-known vendors.

We analyzed 4849 vulnerabilities across tech stacks (1999 – 2020) and these were the results -

• 546 vulnerabilities are weaponized
• 306 CVEs are weaponized with RCE/PE
• 6 CVEs are dangerous and are associated with Ransomware
• Scanners such as Nessus, Nexpose, Qualys have missed 100, 162, and 102 CVEs, respectively.
